The Time has come to celebrate cultures
We would like to take this opportunity to make an announcement about the upcoming event of the heritage day celebration that will take place on the 26th of September 2019. All kids shall wear their traditional attires as we will be doing lots of dancing with our kids and some traditional games.
all kids have to wear tradition as we will take lots of pictures on that day for the memories. Teaching our kids about different cultures is very important because:
We want to Lead by example.
Before we can expect our kids to be kind, tolerant and open-minded about different cultures and religions, we must practice what we preach. As parents, we show our children how to embrace diversity through our actions and our language, which means avoiding stereotypes, treating everyone with dignity and respect, and approaching new experiences with an open mind. Our kids are watching, and they will model the behaviors they see.
Expose your kids to different cultures and religions.
People often live in communities where their neighbors look like them, practice a familiar faith and have similar cultural roots. Introducing our kids to new people, traditions and religions means actively seeking out information and learning opportunities, as well as pushing beyond our comfort zone to broaden our family’s understanding of the world.
